The thumbnail, who is the person with the knife?

“It’s nice to have a break from all the chaos right now,” Chevlin remarked. “It’s been a crazy few weeks, and we’ve barely had any rest.”

“Checkin’ in?” Said the guy at the counter. “I see ya got a whole crew there, Bardon.”

“Oh, they’re just friends of mine,” Detective Bardon replied. “Anyway, seven rooms for fourteen please.”

“Alright, and um, who is that?” The guy said pointing at the floating person.

“Oh, that’s just Ayrna.”

“Is she datin’ that other girl in the witch hat?” He asked.

“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MARBLES?!” Ayrna said losing her temper. “OF COURSE I’M NOT DATING HER!”

“Shh, I’ll get thrown out if you keep makin’ a ruckus.” The guy said. “Anyway, it’s about that ye’ go to your rooms.”

Everyone got cozy in their rooms and even partied a little before going to sleep.

*3 hours later.*

Thump, Thump, Thump

Ayrna had woken up to the sound of loud footsteps.

“Who is that?” She thought to herself. “Are they doing anything bad?”

She was going to go and check the scene out for herself, but she was too sleepy to move, she eventually shrugged and fell back asleep.

Around the same time, Azure, who was across the room of Ayrna, had also woken up. She snuck up and watched closely as Sisay entered Ayrna’s room.

Sisay searched Ayrna’s room inside-out, and after a few minutes, found her scythe. He proceeded to take the scythe along with him when walking out of the room.

Azure decided to wake Ayrna up.

“Why’d you wake me up, It’s 1 AM!” Ayrna asked.

“Sisay took your scythe,” Azure had whispered. “Anyway, we should follow him and see what he’s up to.”

“If it gets you to shut up, then I’m willing to do it,” Ayrna replied. “But let’s go downstairs and get some food, I’m hungry.”

“But nobody is active at this time,” Azure said. “Who in the world is going to possibly serve you food?”

“Me,” Ayrna replied. “I’ll serve myself, no matter what the deal is.”

*A few minutes later.*

The two had arrived at the kitchen, they also heard a munching noise, somebody else was already inside.

“Wait is that — Sisay?!” Ayrna thought to herself. “What’s he doing eating up all the food?”

The second Sisay caught a glimpse at Azure, he ran off, before Azure could say anything.

“Strange,” Azure had said.

“Eh, now I can eat food, oh, all the possibilities,” Ayrna said. “I better dig in!”

“I’ll just go and search myself,” Azure said sighing to herself. “If you see anything suspicious, report it to me.”

“Gotcha,” Ayrna said with her mouth full of chocolate.

Azure wasn’t able to get a glimpse at the direction Sisay ran off to before he disappeared, leaving her to guess where he went.

“He probably went to go and hide,” Azure thought to herself. “How convenient.”

Azure was about to go and continue looking for Sisay when Ayrna suddenly ran up to her.

“Azure, my head hurts,” She said. “Everything went bright for a moment, it’s strange.”

“Do you feel anything different?” Azure asked.

“Not really, but this isn’t too important anyway,” Ayrna said. “Let’s continue to look for Sisay.”

“Let’s check out the apartment rooms,” Azure suggested. “I just know that he’s in one of them.”

The two spent the next fifteen minutes searching each and every room. Everyone was fast asleep, unsuspecting of what was currently going on.

Eventually, Ayrna and Azure came across Chevlin’s room. Which oddly enough — appeared to be boarded up.

“I think Sisay’s in there,” Ayrna said. “You think we should go in?”

“Of course we should,” Azure replied. “It’s our only time to find out what Sisay is up to. But — how do we get in?”

“Let’s just use brute force,” Ayrna suggested. “There’s nothing else we can really do.”

“OK, on the count of three.”

“Three.”

“Two.”

“ONE.”

*BOOM*

The door mysteriously broke off the wall and flew toward Sisay, which barely missed him.

“It’s not what it looks like!” Sisay said at once. “Seriously!”

“Is Chevlin… dead?” Azure asked. “Please don’t say it’s true,”

“I-”

“It’s true,” Sisay said finally. “But for a good reason, I tell you. He deserved it.”

“But what did he ever do to you?” Ayrna asked. “I thought you and Chevlin were on good terms.”

“Don’t you remember the interactions I and Chevlin had last December at the North pole?” Sisay replied. “He shot down the workshop, he killed Storly. He shan’t be trusted no longer.”

“He’s changed though!” Azure argued. “I thought you two were friends again.”

“He hasn’t changed enough,” Sisay said. “And while we’re at it, please go away… I don’t want to kill another person with this scythe.”

“AHA!” Ayrna shouted. “So you’re the person that took the scythe. Should’ve suspected you!”

“And you’re not getting it back either,” Sisay said. “Now, I’ll tell you once again: Go away!”

“What if I told you that you’d get reported to all the members of our crew?” Ayrna suggested.

“What if we all neglected and became enemies with you for being a traitor.”

“And what if we made a deal,” Azure said. “If you agree with us, you’ll get a second chance, and maybe even be forgiven for what you’ve done, if you prove to be useful.”

“But-”

“What’s it going to be Sisay?” Azure said. “Forgiveness, or being despised.”

“FINE!” Sisay finally spurted. “But you better leave me alone, here, have your stupid scythe back.”

“That’s more like it,” Ayrna said smirking. “But what do we do with Chevlin’s dead body?”

“Hide it in the attic of the hotel,” Sisay suggested. “They’ll never find out.”

“Yeah, I agree,” Azure said. “Let’s do that.”

Everyone went back to sleep, and the body was thrown in the attic.

The next morning.

Everyone got up from their sleep, they were also relaxed and energized.

“So, where do we go from here?” Detective Bardon asked the crew. “We can take one more stop before we go to Tekelem Peak.”

“Let’s revive Ayrna so she can get a real body,” Loko suggested. “She’s still a ghost, remember? She’s technically dead.”

“There’s a sacred place nearby, we can go there!” Detective Bardon said. “Wait a second… where did Chevlin go?”

“Umm… he went to go use the bathroom,” Sisay said.

“Yeah,” Azure said tagging along.

“Okay…” Detective Bardon said with suspicion. “Chevlin can catch up with us later, come on everybody!”

And everyone walked out and followed Detective Bardon. Ayrna found a pink bottle on the floor and tucked it in her pocket.”

“I still think Azure is datin’ Ayrna…” The guy at the counter said.
